Dog Education and Training

Book in a ranger presentation for your class today!

With over 16,000 dogs in Cockburn, it’s important that our kids know how to behave, look after and keep safe around dogs. If you would like one of the City’s Rangers to come and talk to your class about interacting and keeping safe around dogs, please contact us.

Our one hour presentations are fun, interactive, and we even come with our highly trained pet pooch! Presentations cover the following:
  • The body language of dogs & recognising the signs
  • How to approach a dog safely
  • What to do if a dog attacks
  • How to be a good dog owner
  • Pat and play with our very own pet pooch!
To arrange a presentation at your school, contact the City of Cockburn rangers on rangercustomerservice@cockburn.wa.gov.au or 08 9411 3444.
