MAN v FAT Soccer is for men in Cockburn who want to lose weight in a social and fun environment. The program promotes regular exercise, healthy eating and lifestyle changes with an element of competition.

Players in the 15 week league earn points for their team by kicking goals in the weekly games and losing kilos.
The players are supported by a professional weight loss coach and WhatsApp groups help the players to stay focussed.
The program is presented by City of Cockburn, UWA Sports, Healthway, Sports West, Cockburn Integrated Health and AREA5.

Players can request to be in a team with their friends or be assigned to a team with a vacancy.
Location: Cockburn Bowling and Recreation Facility, 40 Birchley Road, Yangebup.

Cost:  $10 registration fee (one-off payment) and a monthly subscription fee of $45-49 depending on your league
Discount: This season we're offering a disocunt of $15 per month, per player.
Day/Time: Tuesday Game nights between 6pm - 8.30pm (30 minute games)

In the inaugural season of MAN v FAT Soccer in Cockburn: 

  • 70 players lost a total of 360kg

  • On average losing 3.95% of their body weight

  • 26 players lost over 5% of their body weight

  • The biggest loser lost 15.55kg (15.07% of their body weight)
