Youth Outrage Program

Youth Outrage is an affordable and supervised school holiday program for young people aged 12–16 years. Transport is provided to and from events, from three locations. Numbers are limited. You can secure your position by enrolling and paying for your chosen activity.

Youth Outrage is a supervised school holiday program that offers young people aged 12–16 years a variety of entertaining and challenging activities to participate in. The program operates most working days of each school holidays. Youth Outrage is supervised by qualified and experienced staff at all times.

Youth Outrage cost and enrolment

Youth Outrage is low cost, with all transport provided and a Centrelink rebate is available. Please note that numbers are limited. You must book and pay for your chosen activity to secure your place.

Enrolment forms are available about two weeks before each school holidays. You can get an enrolment form from the City’s Administration building at 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood, or Cockburn Youth Centre at 25 Wentworth Parade, Success, receive one by post on request or download a Youth Outrage Enrolment Form from the Related Documents section below.

Pick up and drop off locations and times

There are three pick-up and drop-off locations for each activity (unless otherwise specified or at the Youth Centre):

Success

Cockburn Youth Centre

  • Pick up address: 25 Wentworth Parade, Success
  • Bus departs: 9:00am
  • Bus drop off: Please check the relevant program for details.

Beeliar

Beeliar Community Hall

  • Pick-up address: Beeliar Drive, Beeliar
  • Bus departs: 9:15am
  • Bus drop off: Please check the relevant program for details.

Hamilton Hill

Hamilton Hill Hall

  • Pick-up address: Café Grab Me near Hamilton Hill Hall, corner of Rockingham Road and Carrington Street, Hamilton Hill
  • Bus departs: 9:30am
  • Bus drop off: Please check the relevant program for details.

Program rules

Please abide by the following rules and do not:

  • Leave the group without prior consent from staff
  • Behave or speak in a racist or sexist manner
  • Verbally abuse or threaten anyone
  • Behave in a violent or aggressive way
  • Carry any weapons at any time
  • Deliberately damage any property
  • Take any drugs, drink or smoke. Please note that anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to attend
  • Eat, drink or move about on the bus.
  • Please note that high caffeine drinks “energy drinks” and excessive sugar may be confiscated.

You may be removed from the program if you breach the rules. 

Participation checklist

Please make sure you consider the following:

  • Double check pick-up and drop-off times and locations
  • Wear sunscreen, hat and protective clothing
  • Wear suitable clothing/shoes for the scheduled activity
  • Check if you need $$$ for lunch, etc.
