Youth Noise 2020

Add to calendar Thursday 3 September 2020 6-10pm

Youth Noise is Cockburn’s premier competition for young musicians. It is an opportunity for you to showcase your talents and compete for some serious prizes! The top performers will also be invited to play at our Spring Fair festival at the end of October.

First prize is $300 and 5 hours recording time which is worth over $250. Prize money and recording time will also be given to the second and third place winners.

Open to all music artists aged 10-24, including:

  • Bands,
  • DJs,
  • Solo artists
  • Duo artists

This is not a one song kind of competition. You will be performing a set of songs with a minimum of three (3) songs and a maximum of five (5).

Judging will be based on:

  • Stage presence,
  • Song choice,
  • Originality,
  • Audience reaction,
  • Setup and Pack down.

You will need to bring your own equipment, and set up and pack down and this will influence your scoring.

If you want to be a part of this exciting competition, you can find the Youth Noise Registration Sheet below. You can send the form to us by email to satherton@cockburn.wa.gov.au or hand it in to the Cockburn Youth Centre, 25 Wentworth Parade, Success.
