You asked and we delivered!
Cockburn Youth Centre is proud to announce its new Young Men's Boxing Program will be starting up in Week One of Term 4.
The ten-week boxing program, which is open to young men aged 12–17, will not only focus on developing participants' competitive boxing skills but will also focus on important concepts like Discipline, Willpower and Respect.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, build mental and physical resilience and be trained by an accredited boxing coach.
Sessions are every Monday and Wednesday, 4.45–5.45pm, during Term 4. Bookings are essential as spaces are limited. You can book by email
or by phone 08 9411 3888.
Participants must be Youth Centre Members to take part in the program. Memberships are free and can be filled out online
or in person.
Each session costs $10 and can be paid before each session or up front.
Waiver Required to Participate
Parents will need to complete a waiver in order for their child to participate.
I'm a young woman, can I attend?
Unfortunately this program is only open to young men (which includes anyone who identifies as male/masculine). However, we do run the Young Women's Boxing Project which not only teaches young women boxing skills, endurance and agility, but also works to develop personal skills like self-confidence and resilience.
