About the event

This free session delivered by Stay on your Feet®  will help you in identifying potential hazards and risk factors in your home to keep you safe.

During this session you’ll learn about the following:
  • Stay on Your Feet® and how moving your body, improving your health and removing hazards can prevent falls
  • The importance of having a safe living environment
  • How to identify hazards in and around your home which may cause a fall
  • How to use the home safety checklist to make your home safer
  • Having your eyesight checked, including common eye conditions
  • Wearing Safe Footwear, including foot health & self-care
