About the event

We all hear about passive solar and water sensitive homes, but what does this really mean?

During this session we will cover the basics of good solar house design using a simple model house. We will cover orientation, ventilation, thermal mass, insulation, window furnishings and more! We will then delve into the wonders of rainwater collection - how big, how much and for what?

You will then get the opportunity to ask any questions you have. You’ll leave this session armed with a list of simple ways to make your home more sustainable.
