About the event

In WA invertebrates such as insects and spiders make up 80% of all animals. Without them humankind would struggle to survive.

In this hands-on workshop children & adults will be introduced to a range of different invertebrates who fulfill key roles in the environment.

Eco Action brings insects for you to get up close with. Mini-beasts including stick insects, giant burrowing cockroaches, beetles, caterpillars and more. You will also learn how crucial  invertebrates are for creating healthy soil ecosystems through observing soil and compost samples.
