About the event

We have so many amazing young people in our city who use their talent and resolve to make a difference for the people around them.

Join us this WA Youth Week to hear unique and fascinating stories from these living books where common perceptions, stereotypes and prejudices about youth are explored through dialogue and storytelling. No registration is needed and everyone is welcome.

On the day you can hear good stories of young people in Cockburn, including:

  • Young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Young people living with disability
  • Young people with diverse sexualities and genders
  • Cockburn’s Young Community Citizen of the Year

Want to share your story?

Do you have a story to tell? Do you have something that you want to share about with the community?
We want your stories and we want you to tell them.

If you would like to be one of our living books, contact Hugo Jorge by email or by calling 08 9411 3882.

Special thanks
