About the event


On 6 August 1945, 76 years ago the world changed - a US warplane dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima in Japan. In commemoration each year the City hosts a tree planting day with local Cockburn schools and the community.

Mr Toru Suzuki, Consul General and schools are invited to plant a tree this year at Bishop Park, Spearwood, the public are welcome to come along.
