About the event

It's the event where we celebrate our best furry friends. The Fur Run is free and full of fun for you, your family and of course your dog.

Activities include:

  • Free vet checks with Spearwood Vets
  • Discounted dog wash with Jaffles Mobile Dog Wash
  • Meet our Fur Run Ambassador - Ranger Annie
  • Various stalls selling all kinds of things for dogs
  • Dog registration / renewal (EFTPOS available)
  • Pet behaviour advice with Dave from Agile Dogs
  • Walk the red carpet at the Pooch Parade
  • Fur run or walk around the lake plus prizes!
Food and drinks will be available to purchase on site.

Competition for Best Stall at the Fur Run 

Terms and Conditions

To enter this competition you must be an approved stallholder at the City's Fur Run event held on Sunday, 17 October 2021 at Manning Park
  • Stalls will be judged by Dave from Agile Dogs, and judging will be based on (but not limited to) the following:
  • Creativity (unique and enticing stalls)
  • Sustainability (no balloons, singe-use plastics inc plastic bags, bean bags or styrofoam)
  • Customer service; engagement with event attendees
  • The judge's decision will be announced at the event
  • The judge's decision is final and no negotation will be entered into
  • The winner will receive $200 cash, provided on the day
  • The competition is not valid to City staff or their families.
