About the event

Join in the festivities of the WA Tree Festival by exploring our pop-up tree trail. Stroll, cycle, or scoot your way around the 1km trail, keeping an eye out for fun tree facts along the way!

The tree trail forms a loop around Manning Lake, and you're free to begin your adventure from any starting point. This experience is accessible from 6 April to 5 May.

Plus City of Cockburn residents can enter the Tree Trail competition - share your favourite tree fact and win a 35L tree or small shrub suitable for your property. Just scan the QR code on the Tree Trail signs and enter your details.

Don't forget to bring along your water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat for a comfortable and enjoyable exploration.

About the WA Tree Festival
Trees are essential in a warming climate – they cool us down, provide habitat for wildlife and improve our health and wellbeing.

The WA Tree Festival brings local councils and community groups together across WA to help share the value of trees collectively. From highlighting the importance of trees to cooling our suburbs, to daily connections to nature, and the often-invisible benefits trees provide, to understanding issues around tree canopy loss, climate change and how you can help – find an activity near you.

Festival runs 6 April – 5 May.
