These workshops will get you thinking like a writer and introduce you to the main elements of writing fiction with exercises designed to focus your attention on craft and to fire up your imagination.

Join award winning author, Amanda Curtin to help get you started on your writing journey.Amanda is the recipient of the Western Australian Writer’s Fellowship at the WA Premier’s Book Awards. She has worked in publishing for many years as a freelance book editor. Amanda Curtin is the author of two novels, Elemental and The Sinkings and most recently a work of narrative non-fiction, Kathleen O’Connor of Paris.

Writing Workshop Part 1.

Will get you thinking like a writer, introduce you to the main elements of writing fiction, and start you on exercises designed to focus your attention on craft and to fire up your imagination.

Writing Workshop Part 2.

This workshop will have you sharpening your senses and using the world around you to create and develop engaging characters.
