Road Projects - State Government

The McGowan Government has secured more than $552 million in funding for six congestion-busting road projects for Perth's southern suburbs (May 2017). The eight projects in total will fix congestion hotspots on major arterial roads through the southern suburban road network and will create more than 4,000 jobs during construction.
Funding for the projects is the result of a new Commonwealth-State $2.3 billion funding arrangement that includes the full relocation of funding from the cancelled Perth Freight Link.
