Cockburn Youth Centre Summer Job Series is a full week of programs and workshops aimed at upskilling your life and landing that dream job.

Please see table below for information on each program:

Money 101 Monday 17 December 11am-1pm Free A Financial Counsellor will take you through the do’s and don’ts of managing your money using an easy online tool. Lunch provided Ages 14-24
Keys 4 Life Tuesday 18 December 9:30am-5pm Free Be a safe driver. After completing five modules you will undertake the Learner’s Permit theory test on the same day. Participants who pass receive a certificate recognised by the Department of Transport. Lunch provided. Ages 15-24
First Aid Wednesday 19 December 10am-5pm $20 Learn the basics of first aid, it could mean the difference between life and death. Students will receive a certificate at the end of the day. Numbers limited. Ages 14-24
Employ Me Thursday 20 December 10am-4pm Free One on one support. Learn about career pathways, writing resumes, cover letters and applying for jobs Ages 14-24
Paperwork Palooza Friday 21 December 10am-4pm Free Get one on one support filling out various types of paperwork, ID applications and any other forms that you need assistance with Ages 10-24
