Remembrance Day Parade

Line the parade

Serving and ex-serving members and their families will march alongside community groups, bands and a police escort from the Sub-Branch, down Forrest Road onto Carrington Street. The RSL invite the public to line the parade route to commemorate the signing of the Armistice. As the parade will commence at approximately 10am, road closures will be in place from 9.45am until 11.30am at the intersections of:

  • Frederick Road
  • Forrest Road / Carrington Street
  • Forrest Road / Rockingham Road
  • Winfield Street / Hamilton Road
  • Paulik Way / Rockingham Road

A service will be held after the march at the City of Cockburn War Memorial, corner of Rockingham Road and Carrington Street, Hamilton Hill. Everyone is welcome. Following the completion of the service, members of the community along with RSL members, will be invited back to the sub-branch for a BBQ lunch at the Cockburn RSL, 73 Frederick Road, Hamilton Hill.
