About the event

HEAL is a supportive group program to help those who have lost fitness and want to start on the path to a healthier lifestyle. A qualified Dietician will teach you how to understand what you are eating and how to make healthier choices. An experienced Exercise Physiologist will instruct you how to exercise safely and at your own pace as you work towards fitness.

HEAL is available as a group program or on-line.

The group program is run over a 6 or 8 week period, with 2 contact hours per week including:

  • 1 hour of gentle exercise - low-moderate intensity physical activity that anyone can do
  • 1 hour of lifestyle education.

You will also receive health consultations at the start of the program and after completing the program. The consultation are designed to assess your current health status, fitness level and measure your progress.
