Guided Indigenous Walk - Native Bird Oasis

Add to calendar Saturday 7 September 2019 9-10.30am

Djiba, the growing season. It is a transitional time of the year, with some very cold and clear days combining with warm, windy days.

Birdlife Australia and the City of Cockburn invite you to join an experienced guide exploring the Nyungar use of the land, six seasons and culture at the Native Bird Oasis, Bibra Lake.

The Native Bird Oasis has been built to help save the endangered black cockatoos and other bush birds that are struggling for survival in urban areas. For food and shelter, 12,000 seedlings have been planted and a custom watering station installed.

Bushtucker morning tea provided.

Please wear closed in shoes, a hat and BYO water bottle.

This is a FREE event however registrations are essential (limited spaces).
