Online: Checking out Chickens

Add to calendar Saturday 27 June 2020 10:00am - Midday

Do you remember holding the warm egg you collected from under a chicken, the reassuring “book book” sound in the chook pen and the excitement of cooking that egg for breakfast?

During this online workshop Shani Graham from Ecoburbia will cover many aspects of keeping chooks. She will discuss how to get chickens,  local laws that might affect you, chook housing needs and  how to feed and care for them.

You will get to meet some of the chooks from Ecoburbia during a virtual tour, and there’ll be lots of time for questions.
