About the event

The Cultural Fair is all about acknowledging the diverse cultures within Cockburn. Come along to enjoy live musical entertainment, foods, stalls and the grand final of Cockburn’s Got Talent.

What makes Cockburn the best place to be? Could it be the many different cultures and communities that call it home? We love the fact that Cockburn is made up of all different cultures, infact, according to the 2016 Census data the most common ancestries in Cockburn were English 25.1%, Australian 21.1%, Italian 6.5%, Irish 6.2% and Scottish 6.1%. Plus stats also show a growing diversity for Indian 2.24%, Chinese 4.87% & Filipino 2.12%.

This event is about celebrating our diversity and we encourage you to come along and immerse yourself in the cultures.

Enjoy entertainment by:

Si Mullumby

Si's path as a didgeridoo player has spanned many continents, created new styles of playing and cut plenty of new ground with Australia's iconic instrument. Si is a multi-instrumentalist, a writer, philosopher and leader. He is a free thinker who has led a wild and unusual life following his heart at every turn.

Danilo Paz

Full time musician, Danilo, has formulated an interesting mixture of musical influences on the piano accordion. Danilo’s musical influence is prodominantly Brazilian, yet intertwines with his interest in European, African and American sounds which has further defined his own unique style of music. His repertoire ranges from the Brazilian classics to vintages, contemporary hits, German, French and Italian favourites.

Rhianna sings in both English and Arabic. Rhianna also plays piano and guitar. Rhianna has performed extensively on stage and has been in over 15 musicals, starred on TV, radio  and has also recently performed in the sold-out run of Utopia at the Blue Room theatre in February 2022.
