Bat Box Building Workshop

Add to calendar Saturday 16 February 2019 9.30am-1pm

Build it and they will come! Bats are an amazing part of our local environment but often go unnoticed. Join bat man (aka Joe Tonga), and help increase the bat population by attending this unique workshop.

Learn about the type of bats we commonly have in our local areas and then construct boxes for them to live in.

These boxes will be installed into the Roe 8 corridor and monitored into the future. Boxes will be named after participants.

This workshop will involve using small battery drills. Suitable for children aged 10 years and above. For more information contact customer@cockburn.wa.gov.au
