Here's a run down of the days events:
Sandcastle building comp (Prize family ticket to Rottnest) plus sandcastle building workshops down on the beach- to be judged by the Australia Day Ambassador
Parking for this event is opposite the beach off Cockburn Road and at Coogee Hall off Howick Court.
Access to Coogee Beach Cafe and regular beach goers parking is via Peri End through Orsino Boulevard. Powell Road will be closed from 6am-1pm and additional parking will be available across the road from the reserve. Relieve the stress of finding a carpark and navigating traffic by riding your bike to the Australia Day Coogee Beach Festival using the great cycle path network surrounding the event or carpool & use other travel options where possible.
