Major Projects

Memorial Hall

Memorial Hall is an important historic, cultural and social facility in the City of Cockburn.

Throughout the year, it hosts a plethora of different groups and events. When the site was renovated, parks services designed the accessible car parks found around the perimeter of the buildings.

These enable the hundreds of veterans who participate in ANZAC Day celebrations, to comfortably enter the site as they are celebrated for their service in defence of country.

Minori Park

Minori Park in Yangebup has been designed to reflect the characteristics of the town of Minori on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The town has a strong history of market gardening and it is this connection, which is celebrated in the design of the park.

The City of Cockburn's strong foundations are built upon the hard work of the area's many migrants, who continued on the traditions of their home country in Australia. In Minori Park you will find an abundance of citrus and olive trees.
