Engineering Guidelines

Guidelines and standards for the engineering design of Subdivisions in the Municipality

In order to standardise and simplify the engineering design of subdivision development the City has produced the following design guidelines, standard detail drawings and, for the localities of Banjup and Hammond Park only, a regional stormwater drainage management report.

Compliance with these documents in the design will result in a simpler design process and a quicker approval time. The documents are not intended to stifle innovation but approval for any variance should be sought before it is incorporated in the design.

The documents are subject to periodic change and constructive criticism will be appreciated.
