Footpaths, Roads and Drainage

Council's Road Services operate two street sweepers and two road maintenance trucks on a regular maintenance program, sweeping and repairing the streets in an effort to improve the cleanliness and safety of suburban streets.

If you are aware of areas needing road sweeping, problems with potholes, blocked drains at the roadside, or damage to a footpath it would be appreciated if you could pass the information on.

Budget Requests

Any requests for new works or services in areas under Council control should be directed to the Chief Executive Officer in writing by 30th March each year. This will allow the item to be considered for funding in the next financial year. The Local Government financial year is from 1st July to 30th June.
