The TravelSmart program aims to reduce the number of cars on the road by encouraging walking, cycling, public transport, carpooling and telework. The whole community benefits if more people are TravelSmart and congestion is reduced.
The City of Cockburn TravelSmart Officer works with a number of different departments to enable travel behaviour change for residents, visitors, workplaces and schools.

Council's Road Services operate two street sweepers and two road maintenance trucks on a regular maintenance program, sweeping and repairing the streets in an effort to improve the cleanliness and safety of suburban streets.
If you are aware of areas needing road sweeping, problems with potholes, blocked drains at the roadside, or damage to a footpath it would be appreciated if you could pass the information on.
Please phone 9411 3444 for help with road and pedestrian safety, or you can email the details to firstname.lastname@example.org on damage to footpaths or road damage in your area.
