Cockburn City Council is willing to provided copies of approved building plans upon request.

Council's Building Services has building plans dating back to the 1970's and prior although through time some plans have deteriorated and are not available.
The City stores its plans in various formats including the following:
Depending on the quality of the plans and the information retained, the City can generally provide the following information:
Who can request copies of building plans?
Only the owner or their authorised agent is entitled to view or request copies of the City's building records.

The City will require proof of identity and or authority when a search request is made.
How to Order:
Once application form is completed you are welcome to lodge the application in person at the City Administration Office or alternatively you may fax or email the form to the Building Services.
Payment of the search fee must be tendered at time of lodgement. Please refer to the
Information Sheet for current fees. To lodge an application via fax or email please complete the Credit Card Authorisation form.Once the application has been lodged and fees paid a search for your plans will be conducted. Generally the application will be processed within 2 working days.
To undertake a search of the City's records, there are search fees applicable to this service. Please refer to the Information Sheet for a schedule of fees.

If you wish to pay by Credit Card, please download and complete the Credit Card Authorisation document, and submit along with your application.
