You do need to book ahead, so download the above forms and book NOW. 8.30am to 4.30pm at Council (9 Coleville Crescent Spearwood) or from 9am to 6pm at the Cockburn Youth Centre (25 Wentworth Parade Success).

The City of Cockburn's Youth Outrage Program operates most working days of the School Holidays and offers young people aged 12 - 16 a huge variety of amusing and challenging activities to keep them occupied and entertained. All activities are supervised by qualified and experienced staff. The program is low cost, with all transport provided and a Centrelink rebate is available.


Enrolment forms are available approximately two weeks before each school holidays and can be obtained from City of Cockburn Reception, mailed out on request, or downloaded from the link below. Simply fill in and post back to Cockburn Youth Services at PO Box 1215 Bibra Lake 6965.

Soul - Young Women's Group

Soul is a fantastic program  designed to meet the specific needs of young women and provide a space for them to share experiences and gain information from each other and workers.

Soul rotates around the City to the highschools and runs for about 8 weeks throughout the school term.  The young women are picked up from school and dropped off home after the program is finished. 

Activities include  cooking, henna tattoos, bowling, movies, and a dinner outing at the end.

Cost - FREE and transport is provided. We pick the girls up from school and drop them home after the activity.

Nurture - Young Parent's Group

Nurture is a program for young parents up to 25 years of age.  Nurture provides a safe and friendly space for young parents to get together and participate in workshops (such as toilet training and child development), craft sessions or just a general get together. Outings such as Mums and Bubs movie sessions or picnics are also organized.

Where: At the Cockburn Youth Centre 25 Wentworth Pde, Success (except when on outings)
When: Fortnightly on Thursday mornings from 10am to 12pm throughout the school term.

Cost - FREE and transport can be provided if needed.

Cockburn Youth Services has grants of between $100 - $400 for young people aged 12 - 18 years who live in Cockburn to get things happening. If you have an idea for something you and a group of friends could do either for fun, to develop new skills, for adventure, or that's creative - apply now!

You can apply anytime, but try to get your applications in by the 2nd Wednesday of each month to coincide with Youth Advisory Council meetings. It takes about two weeks for an activity to be approved and a cheque drawn up.
