Application for Recreation and Leisure Traders Licence Kite Surfing

The City of Cockburn (The City) is one of the major coastal cities in the state of Western Australia. With the current population of 100,000, The City is a dynamic, rapidly growing and exciting place to be. Situated just 22kms south of Perth CBD it boasts an amazing coast line with beautiful beaches and parks.

The City is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced kite surfing operators interested in one (1) of two (2)  licences which will require the successful applicant to operate a kite surfing school on the licenced site.

The two (2) 450m sites are located on the southern foreshore at Woodman Point, Munster. Woodman Point is a world renowned precinct for kite surfing and the particular leasing location is ideally suited for beginners due to the on shore winds and long stretch of beach.

The City requires successful applicants to operate with safety as a priority at all times for participants and users of the foreshore.  The City is seeking operators that will maximise the sites potential as a learning area for beginner kite surfers.
