Beaches in Cockburn 

Our coastline is home to a great variety of fantastic facilities including the Coogee Beach Surf Lifesaving Club, Coogee Beach shark net, cafes, bbqs, grassed areas, jetty's and the Port Coogee Marina.

The City's picturesque beaches also provide opportunities for an array of recreational activities such as swimming, kite surfing, stand up paddle boarding, sailing and jogging.

 

KITESURFING

Woodman Point located in the suburb of Coogee is recognised as one of the best locations in the world to kitesurf, due to the prevailing afternoon sea breezes.

Two kitesurfing schools now operate at Woodman Point, for anyone wishing to learn how to kitesurf:

The City of Cockburn is responsible for the management of 15km of scenic coastline in south metropolitan Perth.
