Leap into fun with the City of Cockburns FREE mobile outdoor play sessions for anyone with young children aged 0 to 5 years.

Froggys Fun on the Green offers fun activities for children and a chance for mums and dads and carers to connect with others, access child development information and support in their parenting role.

Froggys Fun on the Green will be rotated through different Cockburn parks each term.

  • Mondays 9.30 to 11.30am Manning Park (to the right of playground facing the playground)
  • Tuesdays 10.30am to 12.30pm Bibra Lake, Cnr Gwilliam & Progress Drive.

During the play sessions, kids can get hands-on with play dough, painting, arts and crafts, play equipment and toys.  At Froggys, parents can also find out about other local services such as the City of Cockburns Early Years, Family Support and Financial Counselling Services; the South Lake Ottey Family Centre; the Yangebup Family Centre; and child health services.

Staff will be on hand to make Froggys a fun day for all, but children will remain the responsibility of parents or carers at all times.

Froggy operates during school terms, weather permitting. In the event of heavy rain Froggy will go to venues and wait for 20 minutes before cancelling the session. Please text or phone 0467 713 447 if you need to check whether Froggy is operating.

Froggy's Fun on the Green received start up AEDI (Australian Early Development Index) Local Champions Funding combined with City of Cockburn Funding. Currently it is funded by City of Cockburn.

The City of Cockburn accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage incurred by any person attending this programme. Parents/carers are responsible for looking after their children.

The City formerly operated a joint service with the City of Fremantle, called Buster the Fun Bus. This replaces that Service for the Cockburn area.
