Atwell 3 year old Playclub - vacancies for 2nd term

We currently have vacancies in the Atwell 3 year old playclub.
Playclub is run by a qualified playleader and is a transition program between playgroups and Kindy which helps prepare children for Kindy.

Children's Services Plan

City of Cockburn has a newly revised Children's Services Plan covering identified needs and services for children aged 0-12 years and their families, for the period 2010-2015.

The Plan was developed with input from children, parents and caregivers, service providers and Council staff.

The review of Councils previous Plan found that City of Cockburn provides a substantial number of Children's Services including Before/After school care, Vacation care, Family Day Care, In-Home care, 3 Year Old Playclub, an Early Years Program with home-visiting and Parenting groups, 2 Family Support Services, Buster the Fun Bus, annual events such as Teddy Bears Picnic and Hello Baby, a Parenting Calendar, the Universal Playground and more.

There was much positive feedback about these services.

Recent and on-going policy directions from Commonwealth and State have created the opportunity to enhance the quality and availability of services for children within the City of Cockburn, through the new Childrens Services Plan 2010-2015.
