Free Services

Community Safety Services provides a community service to residents within the City of Cockburn.

  • Community Safety Services provide a FREE kerb number and  a FREE ID Marking service for items of value using:

    1. Ultra Violet Marking Pen. (items such as video recorders, television, stereos and computers). A pen can be hired out from Coolbellup, Spearwood or success Libraries.
    2. Engraving Tool (items as listed above - also tools, bikes and machinery).
  • All items marked by UV pen or engraver will also have a small sticker attached indicating that the item has been marked for police identification.

Where applicable, referrals can be made to other community organisations/service providers i.e. Fire and Rescue Services / Community Policing.

The Community Safety Service can coordinate free Safety Workshops within the community,  for your group

These workshops are  life skills programs aimed at helping people of all ages develop skills and behaviours which help them deal with difficult or hostile situations.  These workshops are free.
